The Court Oak Gospel and Culture Forum was originally a group of friends from various churches who met to discuss subjects that affected us professionally. It was based at Court Oak House in Birmingham (UK) and, even when most of the core group had dispersed, we continued to meet and eventually settled into being a charity dedicated to helping people reach itches that other fellowship groups were unable to scratch.
One offshoot of this was when we recognised that, among our number, were several teachers and lecturers in English who had noticed that contemporary students were uninformed of the biblical root of manyof their set texts. They decided to address this and the fruit of their labour is now available. Also is one of the books of Lesslie Newbigin that he brought to discuss with the group.
